Marriage with canadian citizen

Hello Friends.
My situation is: I've met my girlfriend 3 years ago by a friend in common on facebook, i live in Brazil and she is a canadian citizen (born in canada), for 3 years we give gifts for each other, postal cards, and we chat everyday. We decide marry to be together since we really love each other, but we don't know what is the best way to take.
I was thinking apply for a visitor visa to marry her on Canada but i can't say that she is my girlfriend since i saw that they refuse visa because think that i could stay illegal, but i want comeback after two weeks with marriage documents and comeback with sponsorship. But if i have a visa denied they will have the documents like invite letter saying that she is my friend so we couldn't apply after because they could think that is a fraud. We are thinking abou she comes in Brazil and we marry here and apply for a visitor visa for me already with marriage documents. We don't know what is the best choice, some of you have same situation or some tips to help us? Thank you.

Don't lie for the visitor visa. If they reject you then its evidence that you've tried to be together which will help when it comes time to apply for sponsorship. They basically want to see how you've tried to be together.

I recommend you try to get the visitor visa to marry in Canada. Don't lie about her being a friend! Don't lie about anything! If you can't get the visa to get married there then she can come to Brazil and you can get married here. You can always have another wedding in Canada when you're both able to be there so you can celebrate with her side as well. And, like Jeffuk88 said, the refused visa is evidence of the relationship and desire to be together.

If she comes and we marry here, i can apply for a visitor visa after? So i could be with her in my vacations. I saw many people saying that they refuse visitor visa for couples that married because they think that you'll not comeback after the visa expires, but in my case, i have a stable job here, i have family, and i can't just go and stay. Because from Brazil the process takes 12 months to complete. So is better she comes and we marry here or me apply for a visitor visa before marriage?

Ideally it's better to visit each other a few times before you get married. Easier to prove the marriage is genuine.
