Guys, what are your visa offices?
Plus me :)

I'm so sorry about the long wait. Its good to see you keeping up morale by posting a thread for person's with similar experiences.

It would also be good if persons in this thread outlined the reasons they think their application processing time is so long. Just for informational purposes.

For Example:
Was it an adverse medical result, that now needs further processing to ascertain whether you fall with the acceptable threshold?
Was it that CIC requested additional information that may take a lone time to process?
Are you presently employed or was previously employed to government organization? (I heard they take a while to do the security checks on government employees)

What do you think it could be?

Good suggestion. For myself, no medical issues were reported, no large travel history, no military or governmental job and no additional documents requested by CIC. My application was supposed to be a straight forward case, but I'm here waiting with the elite group ;)

my AOR is 16 Nov and the reason of the security check is ten's of travels I did to high risk countries in north africa. good luck for all of us.

Congratulations!

There are several threads about processing time longer than 6 months, but I was hoping to get the information from people who noticed "Secure Outstanding" on their GCMS notes.
I am currently at 11 months processing time and my notes show "Secure outstanding" too. Most of applicants with this got PPR in about 20 months, which seems to be the deadline for CIC.
Is there anyone who got it in less time than 20 months?

When the official processing time of a PR application is 6 months, what excuse do they have for stretching it so long?
Ideally I don't think one applicant need to wait for 15-16 months to get the PR.

Hi Guys,
Please add me to the infamous list. My AOR is 20 Mar 2016, NDVO. I am FSW Outland

All

It would be interesting to note what country all the applicants are from who are/have waited +15months for PR?
Just to see if there is a trend with country, area in relation to waiting time?
