Can someone please help me understand what is meant by the below statement. your advice is highly valued

"Applicants are instructed to indicate that their education was completed by correspondence by typing in brackets {by correspondence} on the same line as the education institution name found in the Education Background Information tab of GCMS. The discretion remains with the officer to decide if a police certificate is required for the country of the education institution."

Thank you very much for your prompt response in clearing my question regarding primary occupation NOC.

My highest education is masters and I completed my masters in August 2013. But, I joined full time job (system analyst) - NOC 2171 in January 2013.
Education requirements for this job is Bachelors degree.
In the express entry profile creation, I see this section

Date xxxxx(My Name)first became qualified to practice in this occupation

If the "primary occupation" is:

• a qualified trade (four-digit code begins with 632, 633, 72, 73, 82, 92), this is the date they became qualified to practice on their own in Canada. (For example, when they moved from apprentice to being a licensed tradesperson.)
• any other job, this is the date they first obtained the minimum education or training stated in the NOC description. (Note: if the NOC only states high school, this is the date they graduated.)

As 2171 NOC requires bachelors degree, should I give May 2011 - my bachelor's completion date?. If I give my masters completion date then My job joining date jan 2013 is before my graduation date august 2013.

My other question is I did not send my bachelor's degree for evaluation but I sent my highest level education ( masters degree) for IQAS assessment as I mentioned masters degree for points calculation. Will this be a problem ? Please advise me on this!!

I am an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). On completion of the 3-4 year academic qualification you are awarded with the status called CIMA Passed Finalist. After that, you have the option of applying for the Associate Membership by providing 3 years of related work experience.

• I completed all my academic exams and was awarded ‘CIMA Passed Finalist’ on May 2015.
  
• Later, I upgraded this qualification and was awarded the Associate Membership on November 2016.
  
• I applied for an ECA and got my WES report for my Associate Member ship as a 4-year Bachelor’s degree.

I started working for a particular NOC from April 2016. My question is when I fill my EE profile, for the question ‘When was x qualified to perform this role’ I will mention May 2015 as this is when I completed all my academic exams and graduated as a CIMA Passed Finalist. However, since my ECA report states as November 2016 as the graduation date (The date I got my Associate Membership) will this be an issue??

Should I mention this in the LOE or do I have to get another ECA done only for the exams up to May 2015 separately ?

Hi,

I got my bank certificates for PoF from 3 banks. 2 of the 3 banks have mentioned different conversion rates for INR to CAD. One bank has converted Rupees into Dollars basis the 'buying rate' (of CAD) while the other bank has taken average of buying and selling rates to convert the currency. I asked the Bank Manager for this variation and each said that they were following their respective guidelines. both the letters are issued on the same day so the reason of currency fluctuation would not hold.

Would this be an issue? as I have no control over what the bank procedures or norms are.

We have got all my documents complete and ready but for one.

I am the dependent in our PR application. I was having difficulty in obtaining the experience certificate from my current employer so I asked them that I needed the experience certificate for a correspondence course from a Univ in England. My employer has agreed to issue a letter confirming my employment however has refused out-rightly to mention job responsibilities. Also, it would be mentioned on the letter that 'This is letter is being issued in respect of the distance learning course from XYZ University in England ....' etc.

- Would this letter be of any use to me? How do I explain my situation.
- How big an impact would this make on my chances to get PR? (all my other documents are complete)

As a positive I have all payslips and tax forms, appointment letter, increment/promotion letter, business card etc from this employment...and in addition to my appointment letter I have a brief note on my job responsibilities issued to me at the time of joining (7 years old and the letter is on the letter head but not stamped)

Hi,

When you add up all these funds in CAD (using the different rate) are you above the minimum requirement? If so, then there is nothing to worry about, but if you are below the minimum your application may be rejected.

Hi,

A letter addressed to a university and without your responsibilities wont help you much. Ask a superior or, last resort, a colleague to write the letter for you on plain paper and get it notarized. The explain that your employer refused to write the letter for you in your LOE.

This notarized letter together with all the other documents you have should be sufficient.

Hi,

1) Its a technical glitch that happens from time to time. YOU can try logging out, closing the browser and logging in again. It should re appear.
2) Yes. This will take you to a checklist and declaration page before leading you to the payment page.

Thanks. For POF, I am attaching six months statements with letters from banks, there is no separate column for average balance for past 6 months. As per bank, they have no provision to calculate average balance. Would this suffice for the requirement?

Yes, this will be fine. Just mention this in you LOE.

Yes, it is. With out it CIC won't know you have her full consent. You risk being rejected if you don't add it.

Hi guyzz, My crs is 445 without adding accompanying my wife and with accompanying my wife my points goes to 416. Can anyone please help me if I can create a two profile so that I have a chance to add my wife too if next draws goes to less than 416. Is that possible to create a two express entry profile?
