yes that is auto generated email from their system and everyone receives that buy it does not confirm that they have received your documents so please call and check with them.

Isent it in with our application.
I did call and she didn't say they didn't have it. But she did say that they had all the documents they needed and nothing was missing.
She said they just haven't started my BGC yet. I'm going to be calling tomorrow morning to ask if it was an issue that I sent it in and see if it's linked to the account.

Hi MissFirefly, what's the number to Fax these documents? I uploaded 3 times via IRCC web form but I don't think they received the documents. I believe fax seems to be the right option at this moment. I would appreciate if you could share me the Fax details.

I had been having trouble accessing the threat but here are some updates

Application was received Feb 28, 2017

Sponsor (myself) approved mid March and also request for Schedule A and PC were in mid March

We sent in the PC and schedule A through IRCC webform on March 29th and no response, no emails, no online updates, nothing have happened since. I have called CIC multiple times and have gotten different answers. Last time, they told me to resend the documents through the webform ( I know others had mentioned faxing and mailing the documents again after they didn't hear anything). So I did resend the documents again through the webform and called CIC again today.

The Gentleman on the phone from CIC was VERY helpful and very knowledgeable. He basically told me:

There is a major backlog as most people have had issues uploading the documents in MyCIC and have used the webform. He quoted around 40,000 webform document submission in the past couple of months and says there is 1-2 months of backlog in receiving the documents. He emphasized several times that there is no need to resend documents as there is no way they would get lost in the IRCC webform and to basically just wait as only the first set of documents will be attached to the file.

I still see no progress on my online account, there is no confirmation that ANYTHING has been received, my application doesn't seem to have been transferred to any visa offices anywhere (based on the information from the call centre), and I am just waiting anxiously to hear SOMETHING.. yet the guy insisted I have done everything I should, should not worry, should not lose my peace and should just wait!

So I guess it is what it is right now.. Will update if anything changes or if I get any response!

Hi Dawn63,

Had a similar situation:
- SA in March 2017
- Submitted Schedule A on March 15 thru IRCC webform
- Medical passed on April 15

My PA status was was stuck at "Application Received" so I decided to call CIC today and they advised me to re-send Sch A thru IRCC webform since the file hasn't been sent to VO. Hopefully they will get it this time and the status will update to " In process" soon.

Well I guess all we have to do at this point is WAIT :/

I think it depends on your country. Once you have your copy of PCC there should be a validity date indicated there. In my case, PCC from Philippines are valid in a year.

Hi, did they indicate why they are conducting an interview in the next coming months? Sept. is a long wait I believe and if you'll be sending your passport now, does that mean that they will hold on to it until sept.?

Hey all.
So I went back into Nov-Jan and have seen a trend with us Americans. It seems as though we're waiting for BGC in progress from RECEIVED is about an average of 106 days.
Still keeping in mind that this can change with the new application. That gave me some peace of mind since It's been so quiet.
