Did they also cross out your work visa? I assume you have one as you are CEC

The issue i guess it the PR card takes a min of 45 days to get? Heard some say even longer they waited. As for PRTD it says apply from your home country, what if you are traveling to another country for work? Any ideas? Tx

They didn't cross mine but that visa is now invalid. You cannot use any previous visas after landing.
You can apply PRTD from any country outside the Canada.
If you have plans to go somewhere then do the landing on way back (depends on the expiry of your visa).

OK. So actually you are still free to go in an out using a valid work visa and upon doing the landing process then you get the visas cancelled and have to wait for PR card. Thanks buddy

OK. So I got a call from CIC India. It is the risk assessment bureau apparently. An Indian asked me about my application and also about my wife. She told me she has written to my boss but he has not yet replied. Sadly, boss is travelling. Don't know when he would send the mail.

After the verification, it goes to a case officer. So perhaps another 2-3 months I would guess.

So lets see how this goes.

Your BGS status will change once COPR is issued. It will remain in progress till then.

@lagbaja02 - yeah I checked everyday, and it never changed after the initial change to IP(1).
@adrlim - no change in my account still. Still says application in process. As rg74 mentioned, I believe it'll change once the application gets approved.

Hi,

I got a document request from CIC on Monday. They asked me to ask WES to send them a duplicate report for my degree evaluation from WES. So I went to WES website and requested to let CIC verify the Ddegree, which WES confirmed on Tuesday that CIC has access now. But in my account, it still says an action is required from you. Does anyone have any idea, what to do next?
