I had called CIC yesterday and the officer mentioned my eligibility was cleared & security check was in progress. I wonder how long they need to complete this process!

What did you asked them , when i called him they said background check is going on?

I simply asked her status of my file. I had more of a 'request' tone with a soft voice so she said security is currently in progress. Eligibility to be considered in this pool is cleared and after the security OVERALL eligibility will be determined which in a way means PPR. She couldnt give me any estimated timeline though...

I did mine on border last october. She was like if i find anything suspicious in ur file i will send u home right now. But everything was good and she issued me visa. But i dont suggest you to go on border unless its necessary because one of my friend was deported as his wife was doing cash job

We can get PGWP easily at border but bridge WP, i dont think we can get it at border

like location of office also designated person ?

We can get PGWP easily at border but bridge WP, i dont think we can get it at border

I think we met the same agent. The lady was really really nice as I just phoned to confirm if they have received my uploaded doc; and she told me programs that I passed and a lot details. I was told now there needs to be a final decision and this can be held until Sept.
