I had applied to two institutions, the first institution rejected me by saying that my IELTS has expired as it needs to valid until the start of the the first day of session. The second institution accepted me and did not say anything about my IELTS. So should I apply with this IELTS or should I write the new IELTS test as there is still time left and apply for the student visa with the new score.

I fear if I apply with my current IELTS score the visa agent might say that it needs to be valid till the first day of class and reject my visa. What should I do?
Awaiting swift replies.

I guess you're applying for an academic institution not for immigration. If this is the case, then the visa officer has nothing to do with your IELTS result. As long as, you get an acceptance letter from the academic institution you're applying for, then you can apply for a study permit.

I will be applying for a SPP visa IMM 5961, which requires a IELTS score taken within the last 24 months
