BOWP - 5 years Max Out

Hello..

I am desperately looking for some advice on my situation. Highly appreciate if any one could help me guide.

My current closed work permit is valid till July 2018. But I am maxing out ( 5 years in ICT WP ) this Sep 2017.
I have my PR application filed on April 3rd. If my PR process is not complete before Sep 2017, will I have
to go out of the country as i saw a rule that I am not eligible to apply for Bridge Open WP since my current Closed work permit is valid till July 2018. and i can apply for Bridge WP only within 4 months of current WP expiry.. Since i will max out in Sep 2017 i will not meet this criteria. It seems weird. I am hoping someone can help me with this..

If you already filled PR and it in process you can file BOWP , even you have valid VISA for more than 4 month. My friend got BOWP however his ICT WP will expire next year. Apply for BOWP and write a explanation letter in just mentioned that your project is going to over and you might need to go back.

I think that once you get your closed work permit. It will void your ICT work permit...And you don't have to worry about renewing it since your current valid work permit expires in 2018.
