ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada

I have question like
"have u ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?"
in my ee profile as everyone have.

Actually I did flagpole to get workpermit for canada.
At that time I dint have us visa visa so they gave denial letter saying that I have been refused admission into united states.

So do I need to mention this as a denial entry in above question???????????
Few month ago I applied for TRV in canada and I dint mention this at that time and I dint get any query and successfully got TRV

so this time do I need to mention this about denial entry??????????????????

well, I would be very honest in this regard. you can always explain this in the application, I think there is a section for the explanation.

Yes, you absolutely do. Flagpoling involves getting a denial of entry from the US CBP. It's the most benign kind denial, but a denial nonetheless. I'd also recommending explaining this in a LoE.

Flagpoling is NOT a denial of entry. Just wanted to make this clear in case anyone follows this advice. Flagpole legally is classified as a withdrawn application - it is not something that needs to be declared at any point during the immigration process for Canada. It is however mandatory to report it for immigration to the US, obtaining a US visa or applying for ESTA.

Would you happen to have any website where it states that Flagpoling is not a denial of entry?

My spouse and I went flagpoling a few weeks back and received a Notice of Refusal of Admission/Parole into the United States where it states "The alien's name below has been: Refused admission into the United States" so we're just wondering if this is an administrative refusal.

EDIT: I also wanted to mention we had to give fingerprints.
