I lost my CoPR and will be applying for citizenship.

1. Where do I send the Verification of Status?
2. Should I send it along with my citizenship application?

Also, I saw this on the website for Verification of Status:

Where to submit the form

Immigration and citizenship applicants

If you have not yet submitted your immigration or citizenship application:

Send this form along with your application to the office listed in the guide of your application.

3. Do I need a letter explaining why I lost it?

Thank you in advance.

I already visited the cic website a couple of times, doesn't answer any of my questions. Thank you though.

Yes it does, you have to read it properly.
It goes to CIC in Ottawa.

you would NOT send it with citizenship application. Citizenship applications go to CPC Sydney, NS.
VoS applications go to OSC Ottawa.

It clearly states:

"Immigration and citizenship applicants

If you have not yet submitted your immigration or citizenship application:

Send this form along with your application to the office listed in the guide of your application."

- meaning you send it with all the documents of your citizenship application. Like, first you put a pile of citizenship docs and then all the docs (application and supporting documents, scans, ect, receipt 30$) for VOS (in case you don't have landed immigrant paper) in the same envelope and send it to citizenship address - Sydney.

You send it to Ottawa in case you apply for VOS as a stand alone request.

By the way, how did you do it?
