Got ITA earlier in the month and trying to figure out where to find the checklist of required documents. All I see is an application, do I have to first complete the application before the checklist is generated?

Thanks

Yes, you will get the checklist after the application is completed. I have this question and I got answer from this forum. I got ITA on the 19 April.I have not completed the application.

In your PR application, you would see tick marks as you complete different sections. When you complete all the sections, a "Continue" button will appear below all the sections.
After clicking that, you'll see your personalized checklist.

From memory, this is usually the list:
- PCC
- Proof of funds
- Scan of non-blank passport pages
- Digital photos
- Proof of Medical tests
- Scan of marriage certificate (if applicable)
- Scan of ECA and degrees
- Work experience proofs
- (optional) letter of explanation / cover letter

Good luck!

The link you posted says you have 60 days from ITA to submit application. Isn't it 90? HOly crap don't scare me, I could've sworn it was 90 days, am I losing my mind ?!?!?!

Prior to November 2016, the time period to complete application after accepting ITA was 60 days. It is now 90 days, the forum post may have been older.

Look at the CIC page below to confirm the same.

sorry @gailmargolis. I gave the link as I think it provides a clearer picture of documents to upload which I think are valid now. That post is good but the OP has not updated the 60 day to latest 90 day.

Thanks @systix for providing the official link about the 90 day period valid now.

Correction, it is 90 days from ITA received, not ITA accepted.

You can modify it. Just use back button in browser to come back and modify. I added my spouse education in her education section by mistake (it has no ECA), and it asked for documents. So I went back and removed it, and it disappeared from the check list.

90 days are the limit for sure! I submitted my application on 89th day!

What if someone wants to leave their spouse's education(no ECA, no points claimed) in the education section and upload her education degree and transcript(no ECA), Is it a problem/mistake/expedient?

Just curious to know.

It's a waste of time to scan/upload and half an hour extra workload for the officer to understand what is what. :)
