IELTS ---> Passport Change

Hi Guys,

I am going to attend IELTS on May 13 2017. I am from India and in USA now. I have given my Passport Number as Identification Copy for WES and IELTS.
My passport validity is only till January 2018. after WES and IELTS, can i renew my passport? Will i be able to use these reports for Express Entry application with new passport?

Yes, you can. In fact, I also have done the same only.

You can renew it if you want. Also, you should upload scanned copy of your previous passport when you apply for eAPR. I have provided both of my previous and renewed passports.

I am in same situation. IELTS results with old passport no. and passport renewed. IELTS is still within 2year limit so valid but not sure if any issue due to passport no.
can you please let us know if u wrote LOE to tell CIC that IELTs has old passport# ?

Do we need to mention both passport new and old in travel document list. New for actual travel and old for IELTS/WES identification? please guide. I have added scan of both in 1 pdf but should we mention old passport no. as well?
