RECEIVED MY VISA LATE CAN I USE THE SAME VISA FOR NEXT INTAKE

Visa valid till - 31/03/2018

last joining date - 16th Jan 2017

I received my visa approval on FEB 15 - 2017. As my visa got approved post my last joining date i could not leave for George Brown College. i had to defer my intake from Jan 2017 to Sept 2017 (As informed by George Brown College ). i have received my offer letter for George Brown College - SEPT 2017 INTAKE and all the rest procedures are also in place.

Queries -

1) I would like to confirm if i can fly on this visa for my Sept 2017 Intake ? or do i need to reapply?

2) Visa is issued according to the previous offer letter and it ends according to the previous offer letter by 31/03/2018. The Program duration for the current offer letter for Sept 2017 Intake is from Sept 2017 till August 2018. Do i need to apply for Visa Extension From Canada as my Program ends in August 2018 ?

PLEASE ADVISE

No, you don't need to inform anyone except your college and ask them to provide you with another letter of acceptance for Sep-2017. Once you will land at Canada airport for immigration they will ask your for late arrival and you can provide them the same letter of acceptance you will get from your college.

The time frame provide on the visa is just the time in which you need to get in Canada.

PLEASE ADVISE

1. Yes, you can travel on this visa even your classes start from Sept 2017 but make sure bring your new Offer letter with you at port of entry in Canada. But don't go too early .....travel in July 2017 ....otherwise they can send you back from airport.

2. yes you can renew your study permit while you are in Canada but make sure renew before 3 months of expiry .....Don't let your status expire in Canada. you need to apply for study permit before it expires ....you dont need to apply visa unless you are traveling outside canada .

I am on same boat right now. @parth009 did you enter Canada post college dates? Did they make any issue at the port/border?
I received visa today Feb 8th and classes started on Jan 15th. I have planned to show same Jan intake letter and get my permit. Later I will apply for extension inside Canada for may intake. Please guide me if I am wrong

Hi, how did you defer your application to the next intake at George Brown College?
My visa is delayed and I think I will have to do the same. Do you have to withdraw and re apply for the next intake? If so, do you have to bear the application fees again? And how long did it take for you to receive this new offer letter?
