EE with part-time RA during Full-Time PhD program

Hi All,

I am new born baby here. I know this is an old question but I really worry about it. I am in a PhD program of USA and working part-time(20 hours/week) continuously as RA for the past three years. This job is paid, taxable, and under same occupation.

I am planning to use this working experience to apply FSW immigration program. I did several consultations and someone told me it can be counted while others told me that this is a grey zone. CIC information under FSW program is very vague since they did not clearly say that they count this part time working experience gained under full time students as working experience.

So anyone with similar situation already landed? Really appreciate if you can give me some advice.
