For location, you can put the town you are in, if you are intending to work there, or put "N/A". For occupation, put "OWP" or "N/A". It's not a good idea to leave anything blank on an IRCC form.

Hi polar25,

You went to Canada in TRV, then now you're applying for your inland application? I have one query, when you went to Canada, you were already married in the Philippines?

Hi @luckyhirang
You can apply for PR after married (citizen or pr Canada) right away (married in Canada or any country)

Hi, Nadaa

Thanks for the reply. Actually, I am so confused right now. Here is my story:
I have known my fiancee for 6.5 going 7 years now. He came to the Philippines thrice already. Currently, we are planning to get married early next year. However, there are many confusions that are underlying our situation. Also we are thinking of here under options:
First, he is under ODSP due to injuries suffered few years. He is currently receiving ODSP assistance. Well, he wanted to give up his ODSP so that there will be no hassle once we get married. Once we already get married, we will apply an outland Spousal Sponsorship. Once he left ODSP would it be okay to put in his Application that some of his income came from ODSP? Also, he would just sell his house once out of ODSP for him to have a savings in his bank account just to show proof of income too. Would there still be a problem regarding the steps he wanted to take?

The second situation: I have a disability (Congenital left amputee, below the knee or transtibial). But my disability is not an hindrance for I am employed since 1998 to present. Of course, I have to present all my supporting documents regarding my employment. Could CIC refuse our application of Spousal sponsorship due to my disability?

For another option:
My fiance will come to the Philippines early next year for our wedding/marriage ceremony and thereafter, we plan to apply for TRV for me, once granted, will apply for inland Spousal Sponsorship and OWP.

On the aforementioned above, which one is the most convenient?

Scyllia provides a very comprehensive answer, however, I forgot to mention some points above.

Appreciate your kind feedback on this. Kindly enlighten.

Thanks and best regards,
Lucky

Sycilla is an expert, u should ask her again. Anyway from my oppionion, you know the risk but no harm to try. Your husband should find the job after releasing the odsp bcs after your PR is granted, your husband will be informed that he should be able to support you for 3 years (it doesn't matter for how much he will get since he is disable person)

Again you know the risk and no harm to try.
Before apply TRV- i guess many experts already told you if you should have some stamps on your passport ( for me travelling only arround southasia), purpose of visit for leisure for 2weeks (not stay in Canada) and work reference from the company you worked, stated tht you will return after visit Canada.

Good luck

High chance a TRV will be refused. You should assume you will have to apply outland.

Hi Polar25,
We aren't married yet. We are 6.5 yrs in a relationship now. Planning to get married early next year. It's really difficult, LDR is really a sacrifice. But we are still positive that I would be able to go to Canada and start our life together soon.

Btw, do you have your PR now. Good lucky, I'll pray for you.

Hi, Nadaa

Regarding TRV, I have stamps on my passport for I visited Singapore and Malaysia in 2014. I will do secure necessary requirements for TRV. However, if it wouldn't work, I'll just wait for fiance to arrive and will just get married and apply for outland sponsorship.

Thank you for replying. Greatly appreciate.
