Cant download IMM5257

Hi.

I'm trying to download Application for Visitor Visa (Temporary Resident Visa) Made Outside of Canada (IMM5257). Although I have verified to have the latest Adobe Reader version, it opens the following pdf file:

hey, once you will download the form. click/right click on that form and open with adobe. you will be able to open that form. thanks

This option does not work for me, I am running on MacBOOK using SIERRA, have tried all options and cannot download this form IMM5257 - message reads

Right clicking does nothing just saves the the above wording to my pC and opens the same . Help I am really stuck here tried all the different options, Safari, IE, Chrome and Firefox. Same issue. Obviously there is an issue with this form.

The help message doesn't help at all, but that's Adobe's fault, not CIC's.

But there is nothing wrong with the form. The issue is that you are not opening it in Adobe Reader.

If you don't have it yet, download and install for your Mac: https://get.adobe.com/reader/

Here is the IMM 5257 link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5257E.pdf

You can click that to open in a new tab, and then go to File > Save Page As (or the like)

It should download the IMM 5257 file as a PDF locally to your hard drive.

Open the folder where the IMM 5257 was saved, right-click the file, and then "Open With..." then choose Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

Just curious, have you manages to open the form?
