NNAS ( IELTS REQUIREMENT)

Hello folks,
I am international graduated nurse from india. I finished B.Sc nursing in 2010. I am in CANADA now. I am living in ALBERTA province. I just send my documents to NNAS for evaluation but they are asking me to send IELTS result. Is it compulsory ?
Is there any way if they can be evaluated without IELTS english proficiency exam ?

they would really require you to provide an english exam score... however when you're applying from ON, you'll have an option to waive such kind of requirement, but most provinces do request...

They can waive the English requirement when you too all the courses and practicum in English
