CIC PR Thread [PNP -> Paper Based Application]

DEAR friends, what is the CIC language requirements, is it similar to SINP, means CLB 4 for OID? A ctually I have to send IELTS result to CIC again, because they sent back my paper application due to IELTS expiry during the PR process. I appeared in IELTS and waiting for result. But I am not an English medium educated, so, after a lot of labour in a short span of time, my paper was not very good.

But as i know when CIC received you PR application that day IELTS date should freeze, after that it off course be expire , there is no problem, why they return your application ?

Silly mistake. That time I didn't know this rule.. my paper app delivered at Sydney on 24 june and my ielts expired on 21 june. Although I have sufficient time time to send application after getting nomination on 1 June.

Hello everyone. Please my ielts will expire in Dec but my application was received my ircc on the 2nd of September. My question is that as it takes more than 90 days before they send my aor and uci will the it affect my application. based on my calculation my application will get to its 90days in earlier December. and my nomination expires on jan 2017. please i need your answer asap

There isn't an active thread talking about what happens after you received your provincial nomination and discussing the paper based application process to CIC. All threads are about applying via the Express Entry system.


I have recently received my provincial nomination from Ontario, within the Masters degree (no job offer needed) stream.

The timeline in CIC's website has been standing at 15 months for a while now. Is this accurate or should we prepare for longer?

How long does it take to receive an AOR from CIC for paper-based applications? I assume they have a massive backlog right now.

Any other discussion, comments, and tips are highly appreciated

I can't understand why u talking for IELTS if you have applied for PR. If you are nominated by any province and now you have applied for PR you dont need to worry about IELTS. They are not require IELTS anymore. I mean the application for PR.

Goodday to all members, please i need clarifications before sending application to cic from all senior members.

Nominated by Manitoba province, compiling forms to send to cic. would list my questions below, would appreciate if i get help from forum members, Olurotimi, Ayokunlex, and others please help.

1. Have made payments online and attached receipt to my application, Is it mandatory to still complete the fee payment form included in the checklist?
2. Should school certificates be included with my application?
3. When filling the generic form which category is more appropriate to select "skilled worker or Provincial Nominee"
4.Also on the IMMM0008_4e , its asking for provincial stream/category. ....( I filled it this way ( skilled worker overseas/Provincial Nominee)
Am not sure if this is appropriate.

would appreciate ur response to the questions above

I can't understand why u talking for IELTS if you have applied for PR. If you are nominated by any province and now you have applied for PR you dont need to worry about IELTS. They are not require IELTS anymore. I mean the application for PR.

Please don't try to confuse others. CIC returned my Paper Base due to IELTS expiry before delivered application at Sydney, they sent a cover letter mentioning valid IELTS necessity. I have sent again with updated IELTS, got delivered on 3 Nov. at Sydney. I am about 4.5 months late due to this reason.

I accepted Paper based NSNP application and sent my application to IRCC during September. In October, i received my OINP Express entry nomination and accepted it. I then sent a letter to IRCC to withdraw my paper based application. I waited a few days but there was no reply.

I received ITA in one weeks and went ahead with the procedure and submitted my application to IRCC again (online via Express Entry).

Just last week, i got my NSNP based paper PR application withdrawal email.

Will I have an issue since i accepted both NSNP and OINP nominations?

FYI : i went ahead with both paper and ee based simulatenously because of this link in IRCC :
