evidence that you intend to live in a province other than Quebec

I received a letter from the CIC saying that they are about to make a final decision about my application, but they asked me for a proof that I`m gonna be living in any other province than quebec. they letter sayS `;Please respond to this email with evidence that you intend to live in a province other than Quebec in order for me to make a final decision on your application. Your application number must be included in
the subject line of your response.

THEY GAVE ME ONLY 7 DAYS TO RESPOND

well I didn`t have any evidence to prove that I`m not gonna stay in quebec. So I just wrote a letter explaining that I moved here to Montreal just transitionally while I get my PR then I`ll move back to Ontario as soon as I get my PR. and I mentioned that I have family and friends and places to live in Ontario. Also mentioned that I work for a compnay that has a branch in Toronto and that I applied for a transfer as soon as they is a position opening in Toronto. I called CIC and asked them what kind of proof they want exactly and they didn`t give me an answer.

after I submitted the letter, I noticed a change in my status under background check. it was changed to in progress.... is that something promising.. and is there a chance my application is gonna be rejected

Did you get any response or update on your PR.
I got the same question but i dont have anywhere to respond to, i got the message inside my application and i dont see an option to respond to, I raised technical issue and i submitted webform multiple times but still not progress, its been 2 months since and i am still stuck with that status, right now cant even reach the custom care.
