ECA for Master of Engineering degree from India (from WES)

Hello All,

I have applied for an ECA for Master of Engineering degree from WES. I got this degree from India. On the WES website it says,

"For all applicants submitting a Master’s Degree or PGDip earned on top of a three year Bachelor’s Degree (12+3+2) for evaluation, WES requires that you provide your Bachelor’s degree documents, otherwise WES cannot complete the evaluation."

I am a little confused by this wording, is this only for those who have a Masters (with any Bachelor's) OR PGDip with 3 year Bachelor's degree? I completed a 4 year Bachelor's degree (12 + 4 +2). Do I still need to send the Bachelor's degree?

I have sealed copies of the transcripts for my Master's degree, but it is almost impossible for me to get sealed copies of Bachelor's transcripts for me at the moment. (I do have simple photocopies of my Bachelor's degree (not transcripts) though)

Any help is very much appreciated, as its almost impossible to get in touch with WES (they just do not pick up the phone or reply to emails ) and I have no clue what to do. Thank you very much for you time and help.

You need to submit bachelor's degree documents. There are instances where applicants successfully got equivalency to Canadian master's just by sending master's documents. It is a risk, if you are willing to take.

If you send that your bachelor's degree will not be evaluated. Why don't you use WES equivalency tool and see what would be your Canadian equivalency? Based on that send documents.

hi.. can you please let me know what happened and how did you get it?
i am in similar situation... did same ME from India like you... did they give you ECA based on just masters transcripts?
