Hi guys,

I have some questions regarding POFs.

(1) I live in the U.S., when I go to my banks they wouldn't give me specific letters that meet with all requirements (starting date and balances in the last six months). They only gave me starting date and average balance in the past year. I guess this is their standard format. Can I attach this letter first and then attach my statements from the past six months at the end?

(2) Can I incorporate my spouse's POF?

(3) For the question regarding "how much money do you intend to bring to Canada", should I fill out the total amount of money I have in my statements or can I just fill in an arbitrary number, as long as it is higher than the minimum requirement?

Thanks so much for your help! ;D

1. Yes this letter from bank should be fine.
2. You can use the funds from your spouse provided that she signs a self declaration stating that he/she has no objection in using these funds for Canada immigration.
3. You can mention a certain amount equal to OR more than the minimum required amount.

Hi,

What documents you submit to show your spouse' bank balance as PoF?
