Hi guys,

To do degree/transcript verification from Canada, they require this to be send directly from HEC Pakistan.
My degree is already attested. I m also registered with HEC online. Meaning they have my records.
I currently live in Dubai. I tried contacting HEC via email and calling them... but no response.
Can anyone please advise as to how can I send my attested documents from HEC to Canada????

HEC does not send your attested and sealed documents directly to canada.
You have to get them attested yourself and then send them yourself to canada.

But I m not in pak. Do we have to be present physically?
Courier option is shown on HEC website.... how that works?
What's the best way for me to do...

No. You can authorize someone from your family to get the attestations by presenting your original certificates along with your authorization letter and your attestation fee.
Even if HEC has your records, they still need your original documents to attest and seal the copies.

Can you advise. I am living in Dubai and have already attested the transcript and degree from HEC/MOFA ( Ministry of Foreign affairs) and want to get WES done. Can I send it directly? or shall I ask my university to send a "photocopy" to WES in a sealed envelopes with university stamp?

On HEC website it states: "The HEC attested documents can be submitted by the applicant(s) to any organization including WES/ICAS etc. The HEC do not send documents directly to any agency/organization. "

so how the "sealing" of documents could be done?

DO NOT seal any envelope yourself. Even if you already have attested original documents from HEC in the past YOU HAVE TO get the copies attested again. Once you get the photocopies attested you can get them in a sealed envelope by HEC and courier yourself. If you are outside pakistan you can ask a friend or relative to do it on your behalf, for this you have to give a signed authorisation letter to that person. That person will take your application form (from your online profile) along with the original documents and get it done by visiting HEC.

Thank you FurqanM for the detail answer. The issue is I dont have anyone (reliable) to get my work done from HEC. Is there any other way to get it done? May be from a courier company or if there are any companies who can help in "attesting photocopies" ?

Secondly I want to ask is it important to get WES done for all your academic qualifications? like Matric, FSc? Or the last/latest degree is enough?

On the HEC website they have given names of partner courier services, I think TCS does this. You'll send them original documents along with an authorization letter and they'll get the attestation done for you. Of course this will increase processing time.

You have to send your attested copies SSC and HSSC certificates from the concerned board. Its a WES requirement.

Great! Thank you. If I have to get all the education certificates to be send to WES I have to liaise with many different parties it is time consuming. I actually have attested all my education certificates attested from HEC / IBCC and MOFA long time ago before I left Pakistan. But now to re-do to the whole process again for all is time consuming especially when I am not in Pakistan right now
