Hey guys, so I know a lot of us have sent their RPRF to CIC via email or fax, and have not had any acknowledgement of it being received. And a lot of people have tried calling CIC to check if they have it, but the agent has not been helpful.
I just suddenly realised a good way of checking though! Most of us log on to ECAS using their EP application number or UCI number right? But there's also an option to log on using the receipt number from a payment. So select "Receipt Number (IMM 5401)" as the Identification Type, and input the R000000000 number on your RPRF receipt. If CIC has received it and attached it to your file, then it will take you to your ECAS page. If they haven't received it then you won't be able to access ECAS and therefore will know that you need to contact them to confirm your payment.
Hope this helps set some people's minds at ease that their payment has gone through correctly!
