Health issue

My spouse is having a medical condition called left ventricular hypertrophy (a cardiac condition) but it is under control with betablockers. Would it result in rejection of the application?

Not sure if this would be a roadblock. But you will have to declare it to the panel physician upfront. Bet way would be to call/meet the closest panel physician in your city and confirm this from them directly - will save you time and money.

I just want to ask regarding on health. I got my ITA July 10 and upon checking on the application under Statutory questions it sees there that "Have you had a serious disease or mental disorder? My question is I had a lung problem year 2005. I was cleared and fit to work and I have a yearly check up here in Canada and Thank God I am Physically fit. I arrived here Feb. 2014. What should I input in that question? Is it YES or NO? I am confused.. In my Visa there is a note that sees IMM0535 is required Medical Surveillance is advised. Please help me and I dont want to have a problem on my application.

Recommend that you answer this truthfully and also disclose your medical history to the panel physician when you go for your medicals. If you're cured, this shouldn't be a concern.

Hi, my treatment was done for an infection in my lungs, which was apparently for TB. So what should I selected in statutory question against serious disease? Does latent TB comes under that and I should select Yes?

Yes. You should be truthful about your medical past. It is very unlikely to cause any problems if it has been resolved already. Good Luck!
