Can spouses WES be added later?

Hello all,

I have qualified for applying under EOI. I understand spouses education credentials fetch me more points. Can I create my express entry profile now and add my spouses WES/ECA later, once she gets her evaluation?

Is it compulsory to add her ECA/WES?

You can update the EE profile with spouse ECA results at any point in time before getting an ITA. And it is not compulsory to do so.

I was aware that we can update IELTS Results later if we get a better score than the one we have but I haven't read anywhere on the website that ECA of spouse can be updated later but before receiving ITA.
Can you please suggest or direct me to this content on their official website.

Actually my husband's ECA has got stuck due to non-availability of some document and ECA report will take around 2-3 months from now due to this. This is unnecessarily causing delay in filing EOI. If it is possible, we would like to go about without his ECA report at the moment and maybe add it later.

Input would be highly appreciated.
