Bro,

That 'Two or more ...' question is for people who do a joint Bachelor's and Master's program
My understanding was:
Certificate 1= B.Tech is awarded a degree after completion
Certificate 2= PG.diploma is awarded a degree after completion
so I understood these two are two separate certificates but I dont know how is "two or more" a single degree ?

ok hope tyhis helps..

if you have bachelors and masters ... you will be awarded to the highest degree.. even if you did master 5 times you will get only single score..

so pg-diploma is less than bachelors degree. so do a ECA for Bachelors from home country and select

Two or more post-secondary program credentials AND at least one of these credentials was issued on completion of a post-secondary program of three years or longer 119 128

you should be fine...

there is a limit of score 140(M) 150(S) ... dont add the score here.

please be advised that with out ECA for degrees from other countries there will not be any scores allocated..

in order - education:
CAD.PHD - 140/150
CAD.masters - 126/135
CAD.bachelors - 112/120
(other_country)bachelors&CAD.PG-diploma - 119(with ECA)
CAD.PG-diploma - 91/98

Where did you get this info?? If you have Master's degree, you only get points for the master's one.
No no. If you have both Master's and Bachelor's you will get points for both. For the Master's degree select the Master's option. For the Bachelor's degree select the Bachelor's option. Then you will get 135 (if one of your degrees is from Canada).

sorry bro,
I dont understand this part at all : "there are programs like MBA+MEng or BTech+MBA etc. But for individual programs you can't select the 'Two or more...' option."
Can you Explain a Degree in Engineering(4 years) from India + Post grad diploma(2 years) from Canada = ? or the "Two or More" why is this not applicable to B.Tech+PG Diploma ?
a Degree in Engineering(4 years) from India + Post grad diploma(2 years) from Canada = 135

Two or more applies to programs like combined programs or dual degrees. Where in one program you get two degrees. For example this https://business.ualberta.ca/programs/the-alberta-mba/degree-programs/mba-masters-of-engineering

On the other hand if you have done two programs separately you have two separate degrees which will get points separately. This will get you more points than dual degrees.

Ya doesn't make sense to me at all
Why 'Two or more' doesn't make sense for Btech+PG: If you see the questionnaire, once you fill the questions and click on Save, it saves all the info in one row about one particular degree. After that you fill the questions again and Save for another degree. This means one set of questions i.e. one row is equivalent to one particular program. Now since you did not get both the Btech and PG degrees while enrolled in one particular program if you answer 'Two or more' for one particular questionnaire it means you got both the degrees within the same program within the two years / four years; which is wrong.

By filling each education program separately you actually get more points.

Phil, if I understand correctly you have a Bachelor's from abroad, and a Master's from Canada. Just click on the Bachelor's and Master's for each set of questions respectively. And you will get 135. If you had PhD instead of Master's you would have got the highest score possible.

University-level credential at the Master’s level OR an entry-to-practice professional degree. CIC only accepts as an entry-to-practice professional degree, those degrees issued in relation to an occupation listed at NOC Skill level A and for which licensing by a provincial regulatory body is required. 126 135

This is from here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

Since you have a Master's degree click the Master's. It will give you 135. If you would have clicked two or more you would have got 128.

Two or more can be a dual degree. Two or more can also be two Bachelor's degrees. The point here is they give points for the maximum education you got overriding anything else. So somebody with Masters will get more points than somebody with say 10 Bachelors.

I think you'll get 112.

Anyway, there are no extra points for Canadian education. That's another way EE f***ed us PGWP holders. I got 135 because I have a Master's degree; but anybody with a Master's from abroad will also get 135. Nothing special for my Canadian Master's.

Regarding the 'two or more degree' thing, a friend of mine actually has a dual degree and he called CIC to ask which answer to click for level of education; they said 'two or more degree', because each row corresponds to a particular program and he got two degrees from a single program (you have to input the country of study, the dates etc; which you can't do correctly if you click 'two or more' and the two degrees are from different places and different years).

Wow this is horrible. Cause my diploma is not related to what I have studied in Europe at all. Totally different area. This is so fuc*ed up.

I think if you get your ECA done for the bachelor's you will get a couple more points.

Yes I got my ECA and they only considered my bachelor degree and i don't get additional points for skill transferability of course since i have only "one" degree...very disappointing...I give up.
