Proof of salary in part time job.

Hi all, I'm an October applicant. I've a doubt regarding proof of work experience with respect to part time job. I was paid cash remuneration as I was working part time. What can I do to show them that I was getting paid on this job ? Can CIC ask for any documents related to it ?

If it was an official work you must have some payslips / checks/ receipts / whatever as proof of cash receipt. Otherwise make a reference letter with your total income indicated. If all your main responsibilities are listed, if the total amount of hours you worked per week is stated and if it is said to be a paid job and it is clear from the reference letter, then it is okay to apply with such letter with no payslips or other stuff like that. I didn't include any payment papers in the package, reference letters only.

Yes it was official work but I wasn't on their payroll rather I was paid through cash. I managed to get the experience cum relieving letter bearing joining & relieving dates, designation, salary, working hours and detailed job duties. Its written in the letter that I was working part time. The letter is on company letterhead signed by director (owner) along with his contact details. Is it enough ? I don't have any reference letters and it may not be possible to get one because my known colleagues have left the company last year, whereas I left the company in Jan 2013. What should I do ?

Hello, as far as about the full time job, I submitted the relieving letter along with 4 reference letters (consisting job duties) from my colleagues as company wasn't ready to mention the job duties as it was against their privacy policy. Regarding the part time job, I just submitted the relieving letter along with the job duties signed by the company MD. I have the salary vouchers ready just incase CIC asks for it. Currently I'm waiting for MR.

May I know whether you obtained your PR?
And how did you prove your fund in your part time job? As my case is similar to yours where i am paid in cash

I received the PR. Proved with letter from employer & receipts.
