I was wondering if anybody could help me out. My mom wants to go for the citizenship test but she cannot speak english. She is 56 years old. would they still expect her to do the citizenship test or is there any other procedure?

So that means all she has to do is fill in the forms for citizenship? and no test right?

When I took the test, they called the over-age people out of the line and sent them in to speak with a citizenship judge. It seemed rather informal, they exchanged a few words. If she speaks no English or French whatsoever, maybe you or somebody else can go with her.

She don't have to go for the test she is more than 54
