One more question. Which kind of post method did/will you use to send your passport? I heard that you have to make a prepaid envelop enclosed, so the consulate can mail you back, right? Thank you!

Yes. You need to send photos ( 2 or 4, I forgot) according to their specifications and you also need to send back an information sheet which is attached to your PPR. I got mine through email by the way.

My consultant says you recieve it by post. Why not ask your Consultant, that's why you've paid them all that money ;D

I got my by email and here is how it happen: First of all there is no form to file and ask CIC to send your ppr by email. During treatment of your file if you get the chance to contact CIC by email, you will receive an automatic response with this sentence at the end:
English “Disclaimer: By supplying your email address, you are initiating an email communication with CIC and thereby authorizing CIC to use your email address for communication with you including the transmission of personal information on your file/case.”

French “Désistement : En fournissant votre adresse électronique, vous établissez une communication par voie électronique avec CIC et, par conséquent, CIC est autorité à utiliser l'adresse électronique fournie à cette fin, y compris pour la transmission de renseignements personnels au sujet de votre dossier/cas”
In this case, your ppr not your medical section A (always by mail) will be send by email.

In order to issue a visa, you need to provide us with your passport...
1) you cand send by courier but you need to send a prepaid label so we can return your passport with the visa stamped
2) (not sure if only in mexixo) you can bring personally your passport 9am and at 1pm you have to pick it up personally

Both options, i had to present the valid 6 months passport and a copy of that letter. After so much wait, i opted to do it personally.
