Does you receive passport request by email or postal mail?

I received email saying something like this:
In order to issue a visa, you need to provide us with your passport...
1) you cand send by courier but you need to send a prepaid label so we can return your passport with the visa stamped
2) (not sure if only in mexixo) you can bring personally your passport 9am and at 1pm you have to pick it up personally

Both options, i had to present the valid 6 months passport and a copy of that letter. After so much wait, i opted to do it personally.

That is your ppr go and get your visa and congratulations!

Thank you, with your passport, they will paste a visa sticker (whole page) in one of the free pages you had, and will give you COPR (a paper for Confirmation Of Permanent Residence), Do not write/alter this document, this has to be signed in front of the immigration officer once landed, the lady in the embassy repetedly made this acclaration to me.
I am just writing this in case some readers wonder.
