People who got PR in NOC code 2174,please send me job duties for this NOC, which you mentioned in your reference letter. I know, we should not mention the duties directly from website, so I just need this for my reference only. Thanks in advance, this will be a great help.

Have your supervisor type it up for you, or take a notebook with you for a day and write
down all the things you do. That's what I did.

I knew, somebody will send a response like this, I am just looking for other's duties to check if I am really fitting in this NOC. My WP have this NOC code. Also CIC matches duties with NOC code basic duties, so it is important to mention correct NOC code and duties.

This is what i have put in my reference letter for noc 2174. Your duties looks completely fine with 2174.

• Develop and maintain application code, web pages, and content including graphics, documents and text, for Company A's public website and intranet/extranet portals. Develop and maintain integration of web pages and sites with backend database and application systems.

Should not be a problem because you can have a little bit different role from the roles mentioned for your NOC on HRDC website.
2. Job duties are not mentioned in my main reference letter, so I am giving this from my supervisor. Since he is generally on tour, so what is the probability they will call him and can confirm this. Any idea? In case he will be able topick phone if they call him, will they try again?
Well that completely depends on the VO. But most of the time they do try to call back or at least leave a voice message.

No, shouldn't be a problem as names and descriptions for positions vary from employer to employer

They only call in individual cases. If they do, I bet they try again in case they can't get a hold of your supervisor.

You will be fine as long as your duties match the NOC code , title doesn matter.

I am applying for PR under 2174 - Computer programmers and interactive media developers, I work as a software developer. And I have the following duties:

1. Performing maintenance/trouble shooting of unique legacy programs and new system’s for key customer product
2. Using C#/C++ or PERL, XML/XSLT and proprietary scripting languages to perform maintenance on customer specific code base
3. Ensuring an understanding of each clients unique programs and coordinating project and delivery schedules to ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met
4. Identifying issues/problems that do not fall under the SLA and scope out requirements and time frame to address problems or issue
