Hi,
I'm due in Mar 2012 and would like to have my parents to help me during my pregnancy.

Can someone pls share their experiences to avoid rejection scenarios ?

My parents are in India and my father hasn't paid any IncomeTaxes till date.

Also, can some pls tell how much liquid cash should they show in their bank accounts and how many months of bank statements should they show in their accounts ?

Should they show a complete 6 month bank statement ?

I shall be really thankful if someone can provide info !!

Is it better to show flight tickets while applying visa for parents back at home ?

Does the return flight tickets add value while applying for visitor visa ?

My father visa was rejected last year due the reasons like , not convinced he will return back and his finances plus my socio economic status as I was on maternity leave . I am thinking to reapply .Can you please suggest
1. How much of money I should show in his bank account . Last time I only showed 4 lakh ( around 7k CAD ) ? What kind of more finances proof I can show . His finacial situation is pretty good but I need to know what all I can show ? He owns property as well .
2. I am only helping my husband in office work who is self employed and I mainly take care of kids at home and was not able to go back to work i was doing before after maternity as no one was there to take care of kids .Should I sponsor him or my husband sponsor him or I should get my husband as cosigner on sponsorship letter .We own house as well .
3. What else I can provide to show that he will go back to India after stay as he will not overstay for sure but how I can prove that . He is a widower . My siblings stay in other countries . He has visited them a few times . Apart from visiting them he also loves to travel and has good travel history visited UK , AU ,Pakistan etc .He want to see Canada as well plus it is so difficult for me to travel to India with 2 kids and this after pandemic issues so I prefer him to visit . I have not seen him for last 5 years now.

You showed 4 lakh? How much did he show last year? You don't need to show any more finances. Your father is the applicant, so he should show his bank statements and other financial proofs.

Visitor refusal for mother - she's is 64 year old house wife staying with me. Father is retired from private company. Sister invited her to see her family for 4 weeks and she is PR there. Her account balance was CAD 5K in saving, my account balance was CAD7.5k. Property valuation on my name. She doesnt have anything on her name in terms of assets. So I sponsored my mother, I am only son and sister living in Canada as PR. I have submitted my payslips, bank statements etc.

Refusal
I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/ section-179.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors: • The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application. • You have submitted documentation that lacks authenticity as part of your application. This has diminished the overall credibility of your submission. • You have not provided sufficient documentation to support your or your host's income and assets
