finally got the notes that I ordered in April. Not surprised to see that the file is under "comprehensive security check". whatever that means! and who knows however long it would be. here is to hoping!

Guys.. our PGP application was moved to Montreal office in Dec 2024. Then we received 3 separate emails from them requesting more information and documents. Most of which we had already provided along with the original submission.

Anyways, we submitted all the requested documents again. Last submission was a week back.

On Friday, we received an email saying they are currently processing the application and that we can sign up for pre arrival services.

I would like to ask what does this letter mean and what's the purpose. The applicants haven't not done their medical yet, no request from CIC to complete medical yet. Can anyone guide me as to what may be the purpose of this communication?

It is purely procedural sent sometime after eligibility.

I am 2024 applicant, I received pre-arrival TWICE !! One in May, the other one in July ~

Nope. I tried many times but unable to link the application.

Can IRCC reject a dépendant after P1? My mom got her P2& ECOPR but I didn’t receive any updates after P1..

If a dependent is ineligible, they have to inform the sponsor right, they can’t just brush it over after P1?

I just got my PPR a few days ago, check the timeline on my signature. So 2 pre-arrival letters are a GOOD sign !

But since most of us are reaching the 2 year mark, just wanted to checkin/see what the progress is, if any?

same here. Called IRCC and they said there is nothing I can do to speed it up. Submitted the application last week of October 2023.

Omg, what happened to PGP 2023, I am 2024 applicant, and I got PPR for 1 year and 19 days. I am so shocked !!

same here. Called IRCC and they said there is nothing I can do to speed it up. Submitted the application last week of October 2023.
Everything was fine and moving well until they moved our file to Montreal office. Then it got stuck.

i got invitation in 2025 , doing application now. My parents’ passports were renewed after I submitted the 2020 Interest to Sponsor form. I do not recall whether I included their passport details in that submission. If anyone has a copy of the 2020 Interest to Sponsor form, it would greatly help me clarify this matter.
