Hey! Could I ask how you made the account with the AOR? Not sure how I can find the UCI or application number without it

Yeah absolutely!
So I will add, I was able to make the tracker but I still don't have AOR because when they sent me an email asking me for additional documents which was just to fix the imm5669e form (wrote the wrong date on one of my addresses), it had the application number and the UCI at the top of the letter. It didn't let me track it until the next day and AFTER I had submitted the document (and got an acknowledgement of reciept of the additional documents. Status just says "in progress.

This does see odd. Your BIL will have the Application Number and UCI. Login to the PR tracker portal https://ircc-tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login and see if the AOR was issued or not.

I did notice my spouse got a different UCI number than me (I was able to make the PR tracker account when I had go submit the document requested that needed to be fixed). Is that normal? I also cant log into my PR tracker account since the AOR was recieved.

Does anyone know how long the OWPs if approved are given for?

My Vistitor Visa expires May 7th. If Imy partner doesn't get the AOR by 2 weeks before hand, it looks like I can apply straight for the OWP without the AOR according to the site.
I'm wondering, do they approve the OWPs for the estimated time that it takes for the Sponsorship Applications to run (est. 24 months atm)? Curious as to other's understanding or experiences.

Are you really sure that you got AIP in a month only?

Yes, wife (PA) received a letter on April 17, 2025 stating:

"It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence
as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class. Please note that a final
decision will not be made until all remaining requirements for becoming a permanent resident
have been met. These requirements include medical, security and background checks for you
and, if applicable, all of your family members, both in Canada and abroad, even if they are not
applying to join you in Canada at this time. You cannot become a permanent resident until you
and all your family members have met these requirements
."

It matches the description in the IRCC glossary: https://www.canada.ca/en/services/immigration-citizenship/helpcentre/glossary.html

Saw a ghost update today on the portal. We still have not received the Medical Request and I suspect we might not have to do it since her recent (student visa) medical was in Feb 2021. Per the public policy we seem to be exempt; but I could be wrong: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/notices/2022-foreign-exempt-ime.html and more details here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...eements/public-policies/excempt-ime-2024.html

Anyone know if this situation is normal?

IRCC asked me to fix one small error on document (wrote a date backwards) and gave me a month timeline to resubmit (I submitted the same day) which was May 9th.

I submited April 9th, the day it was asked for. AOR was recieved by Sponsor April 17th, but since then I haven't gotten BIL or anything. If they give you a certain time to submit, do they usually not check back in until that date? It's worrying me just a bit.
