Parents visitor visa - received decision only for mom

Hello,

I applied for visitor visa for both my parents in March. I received the passport request last week only for my Mom’s passport. My dad’s application is still in progress. Has anyone seen this happen before? When can I expect a decision on my Dad’s application as well? The agent has adviced us to send Mom’s passport for stamping for now!
Please advise or share your experience of you’ve seen something similar.

Not unusual as they are processed separately. If he was in the military or lived in other countries or has immigration issues with other countries then can take longer.

Yes this is possible. Even if they applied together every person is evaluated individually.

Not unusual as they are processed separately. If he was in the military or lived in other countries or has immigration issues with other countries then can take longer.

Same for me! The application was submitted for Super Visa in October 2024. The medical has been passed in January 2025 for both of them & the
principal applicant of the application already received passport with stamping. But haven't received the passport request letter for second applicant, even both the applications were submitted
together as family. Raised 2 webforms but received the generic response as "in progress". I am not sure if this is normal and how long will it take to get the passport request letter? Thanks
