Hi - what does it mean the citizenship test status has been updated to "in progress"? I gave my test last friday and today it got updated with this. My husband's test was on 14th March and his status updated as completed on 18th March. Any reply is appreciated.

I had similar. My tracker showed test status "not started" even my test window was open. I did check my tracker every day, and on the next day of I passed the test, tracker updated and test status become "in progress" and also "Waiting on you" message appeared. Under the "Application history" section, I saw test status changed on the day when I received the invitation email and test was scheduled on the test start date. But these just came up after I passed the test.

How about your Application history on tracker?
If it shows your test status changed to in process as of the past date? Is your test window the same as the invite?

That's weird about the date part you mentioned. In the tracker, the citizenship test in progress update is showing up as Feb 25th when my test window is from Mar 14th - April 12th. Also above the updates, it is still showing we are waiting on you with respect to the test.

Just wait some. Almost no IRCC system updates immediately. A week, two weeks not unusual.

I got an update today and my citizenship test was passed on March 24th, pretty fast, i gave the test on March 22nd.

Just wait for 5-10 days after the test - no need to do extensive research over each and every bit of information. Your test will be marked as complete in 7 business days. I would be concerned if it doesn't after 7 days.

Hi - my question was based on the trend on how fast the system was getting updated after test completion. I can see the test on your timeline was updated fast as well so was a genuine doubt. Nothing else.

Just a quick query-- Before starting the test, i asked my wife to take the picture while i was holding the ID with both hands (holding from top and bottom), is that acceptable? I mean instead of holding the ID with one hand and click the mouse from another hand, i asked my wife to take it for me.. Should i re-take the test. I am very upset. I just saw the link, it says i can take a help from my family member before starting the test. But still please suggest.

If the link says you can get help to take the ID, then what's the problem? I don't think you can take the test again if you passed. There is no need to be stressed about every little thing.

As for my knowledge and the citizenship/oath ceremony schedules looks like the system generates the timeline based on the Citizenship ceremony.

The ceremony tracker is getting updated every 2 weeks and as of now we have it until 4th April nothing beyond. All who have not gotten into this will be scheduled in the next cycle. Its just my assumption and may be wrong. With this if we are to expect we can expect the LPP updates and beyond only after this week.

I know usually Vancouver is assigned as primary for many of us, although from GTA or other provinces.

I applied from Toronto itself, when I called to IRCC customer care, they told me that my application processing center is Vancouver
