Greetings,
I am a Canadian citizen and I will be getting married in May 2025. My soon-to-be spouse holds an Indian passport and has never been to Canada. I am wondering what the quickest way for her to join me here in Canada would be. Can we apply for a visitor visa so she can come to Canada with me after the wedding, and then apply for spouse sponsorship? Or is it better to apply for spouse sponsorship immediately after the wedding, get the AOR (Acknowledgment of Receipt), and then apply for a visitor visa? The goal is to bring her to Canada as soon as possible, even if the PR processing takes some time. I would appreciate your advice on the best course of action. Thank you in advance.

Either way. If you a Canadian living exclusively outside Canada, you will have to explain to IRCC your plans to return to Canada upon your spouse becomes PR.

Partially depends on her profile like employment, savings, property, previous international travel, etc.

Hi, I am a Canadian citizen, and I will be getting married in India in May 2025. My soon-to-be spouse holds an Indian passport and has never been to Canada. What is the success rate of applying for a temporary visitor visa for my spouse after the wedding, and then applying for the Spouse PR Inland visa from Canada after arriving here? Is it something that we can do. Please share your experience and advice. Thank you.

The chances for TRV would be low. Outland as described above will be a better route.

Hi, Im planning to sponsor my wife from India she works as a corporate trainer. While her Spouse PR is in process, I was wondering if I can apply for her visit visa. If so, does she has to show strong ties back home? She does not own* any property under her name.

After AOR she can certainly try. Having employment and hopefully savings will help. Owning property is not a requirement.
