Travel with old passport and work permit, ETA question

Hi! I am from the UK, my work permit expires in August 2025. This date limit was because my passport expired on that date, but my work contract is longer so I will apply to extend it. I need to travel in May, returning in June. I have a new passport but have not applied for a new work permit yet because it might not arrive in time, so I will apply when I'm back. I understand I should travel on my new passport and just bring the old one, linked to the work permit, with me. But my question is about the ETA, since it says here "If you get a new passport, you will need to get a new eTA. Your eTA is electronically linked to your passport.".
