@Miss bee
Hello just a quick question.

Do we need our nomination certificate valid when we apply for BOWP? My PGWP will expire next year (June 2026), and I have submitted my Non-EE PR application already (December 2024). The expiration of my nomination certificate (May 2025) will be around the same that I will receive my AOR (given the waiting times today). I'm just curious because by the time I need to apply for BOWP around I'm targeting Feb 2026, at least 4 months before my permit expires (if I don't get my eCOPR before my work permit expires), my nomination will be expired already. I did not get any support letter from the province along with my nomination, and I also don't have any work restrictions.

Or, should I apply for BOWP now even if my PGWP expires next year?

Please advise. thanks

Right now at his job he's being exploited and he wants to leave his job . At this point if he leaves the job will it create issues with our file ? Please let me know

If you are applying for BOWP , you only need copy of AOR however if you are apply on for closed work permit, you can use expired nomination certificate but you need valid WPSL less than 6 months old .

Oh okay. a copy of AOR would suffice for BOWP even if the nomination is expired?

@Miss bee ,
I have received my AOR under Ontario Nomination. I realize my medical exam are valid. In order to gain time is valid to download the medical exam by Webform.
My representative told me that medical should be link with my UCI, so nothing to do for now. Please advise.
Thanks

Hi Miss Bee,
Do we need a new LMIA for closed work permit extension if we have already received AOR? Thanks.
