I previously studied in USA on F1 visa and then did an unpaid internship on F1-OPT for almost an year. After which i left the country and came back to India(2024) since i couldn't get a FTE and had no way to extend my F1 OPT. Recently got married and planning to apply for SOWP since my husband is working on a TEER 1 job. Do you think my stint in the USA will raise any red flags ?

Unlikely but your establishment in India and proof of relationship will likely be the bigger issues. Do you have a long relationship history especially in person or was this an arranged marriage with minimal time spent in person? If referrals arranged how many visits did you have in person before getting married? For example if you have been dating since you were living in the US it will be viewed very differently than having an arranged marriage with a Canadian WP holder once you had already returned to India and where you got married on your first in person visit.

Yes you should include the 1 yr unpaid internship on your application it is still considered work history.
