This letter is to inform you that your Pre-Removal Risk Assessment application has been approved. It has been determined that you are a person who would be at risk if removed to your country of nationality or former habitual residence. This decision was made on XXXXXX

As a result of the above decision, you now have protected person status in Canada. As a protected person, you may now apply for permanent resident status.

Dear

This refers to your application for permanent residence from within Canada on humanitarian and compassionate grounds.

Humanitarian and compassionate factors are assessed for the purpose of determining whether to grant an exemption from certain legislative requirements to allow your application for permanent residence to be processed from within Canada. On August 26, 2021, a representative of the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) reviewed your application. We are pleased to inform you that you meet the conditions (eligibility requirements), and your application has been approved in principle.

You must meet all requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and its Regulations such as medical, security, and passport. As your application is processed, separate decisions will be made about whether or not you meet those requirements.
