Too late to restore status from within Canada after 5 months.

If she marries her Canadian boyfriend and he sponsors her for PR, she will eventually get status in Canada assuming the application is approved but it will take a while.

She cannot apply for temporary stay. Again, it's too late to restore status.

She will need to remain in Canada without status while the application is processed. There is always some chance she could be removed from Canada. However also possible she will be able to remain without status while the sponsorship application is processed.
