@Miss bee I have received my gcms notes as you said me to submit it and check where my application is stuck so what should I check in my gcms note to know where my application is can you tell me
Now that you have received your GCMS notes, you should check the following key sections to understand where your application is stuck and what progress has been made:
1. Application Summary (First Few Pages)
Status of Each Stage: Check the status of eligibility, security, criminality, and medical.
Assigned Visa Office: See which office is handling your file. If it was transferred, check the last location.
Group Name & Assignments: Look for any internal comments about priority or processing stages.
2. Eligibility Assessment
Eligibility Status: Look for Passed, or Recommended Passed, or Review Required.
Notes from the Case Analyst: If it says Review Required, see why (e.g., proof of funds, work experience, or other concerns).
Employment Verification: If your work experience is critical, check if they have concerns about your reference letters, job duties, or employer verification
3. Criminality & Security Checks
Criminality: Usually based on your police certificates. If it says Passed, no issues. If In Progress, check for pending requests.
Security: This is often redacted, but if it's still Not Started or In Progress for a long time, it could be causing delays.
4. Medical Assessment
Status: Should say Passed if your medical was accepted. If it says In Progress or Review Required, check for specific issues.
IME Number: Ensure it matches your recent medical exam (if applicable).
5. Info Sharing Section
This relates to security screening between countries (e.g., CBSA, RCMP, CSIS). If its pending, it might be causing delays.
6. Officer's Notes (Most Important Section)
This is at the bottom of the file and gives the officers comments.
Look for:
Concerns about eligibility (e.g., work experience, common-law proof, finances).
Requests for additional documents.
Whether they need more review or are waiting for an internal decision.
