Do anyone has any ideas what does attachment indicate in gcms notes? For example, underneath the security section of my gcms note, there are few sections named such as sub activities, right below the sub activities section, there are few file attachments in my gcms notes. Are those files being sent to CBSA and used for security screeing?

"Received by CBSA": Initially, if CBSA receives your file, the status will be "Received by CBSA." This means CBSA has your file and is waiting to process it.
After CBSA Receives the CSIS Report: Once CBSA receives the CSIS report (or any findings), the status may move to "In Progress by CBSA" if it hasn’t already. This indicates that CBSA is now actively reviewing the security information and continuing its security check process. What I heard about the statues is like this,

I've got a valid US visa and am on closed work permit so should be in CAN+ category. But I don't know what's the holdup. My 3 year permit is expiring in Nov 2025. Anyone else in similar situation?

Nigeria,
Spouse in Comprehensive Security Screening, resident in Nigeria. PA Security is completed, resident in Canada. So it is an Inland application. I believe inland or outland have no significance in this situation.

I applied for PR under QSWP and from the latest GCMS notes, my Security is just Not Started with no indication of it being Comprehensive while Eligibility/Criminality got cleared in November 2024. I’m wondering if they just forgot to send it there or some processing is nonetheless happening in the background… I was already subjected to C-check for my study permit application in 2019 which took a year to be approved instead of 2 weeks. It was sent to C-check (VIT 34) at the same time as the Eligibility was done. I know that the verifications are independent between temporary and permanent residency applications, what I don’t understand is why nothing is happening right now…

Has it been sent to Vancouver visa office? There should be a date on which it was sent and there might be a note as well.
If there is no mention of CC then its a good sign (atleast for now), it just means your application is in queue to be processed by a visa officer.
It is still with CIO Sydney. I am not sure it’s in any queue… It’s moving for everybody in the QSWP stream, including people who got AOR much later than me. In the latest note which was added at the same time as Eligibility got passed, the Security section is simply not filled (no exceptions under any act on the page), just at the end « SECURITY: (blank line) ADDITIONAL NOTES: (blank line) File Referred To QSW-MEDS-NOT-STARTED» In the email I received from ATIP, it was also mentioned « All disclosed ».
Hey, I just confirmed from notes that my application was put into a comperhensive security check with code A34 next to it. I have a question, does that mean my application will be checked by both CBSA and CSIS or just CBSA (or if that's up to them)?And what comes first/what's the order? Right now my status is "in progress by CBSA" on gcms notes. I am just trying to figure out at which stage I am, a lot of people here seem to have first Received by CBSA status first for a while, while I was put in css on 23 jan 2025, and notes from 31 Jan indicate that it is in progress by CBSA. Any insights would be greatly appriciated! Thanks!
