Sponsoring Spouse after H&C Grounds

Hello Everyone,
I was granted PR status under H&C after spending more than 730 days outside of Canada for family reasons. I provided proof, my application was approved, and I recently received my new PR card. I now live and work in Canada.
I'm currently filling out IMM5532 (for spousal sponsorship) and in the address history section it asks for my addresses over the past 5 years. During that time, I had both a permanent address in Canada and one abroad, but if I list both, it looks like I've only spent about 1.5 years physically in Canada.

Since I already had my H&C application approved and my PR renewed, will this past time abroad negatively impact my inland sponsorship application? Or does the fact that I was already granted H&C mean it won't be an issue?

For context: I'm applying inland, my wife is here in Canada with me and she's on a visitor visa right now.
My PR card is a few months old, issued after the H&C approval.

Has anyone been in a similar situation before? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

You put in your true real address when you live at the time. Not a "paper address".
It doesn't matter what it appears to be. IRCC knows that you applied and received new PR card via H&C. There is nothing to hide.

In general, we advice sponsor to wait till he/she meet RO before applying to sponsor their spouses.

Perfect, so I don't need to provide a letter of explanation whatsoever? I am definitely not trying to hide anything, I was just unsure if it would affect the application in a negative manner- in this case, I'd provide an explanation for my overstaying abroad.

Thank you.

I'd suggest including a short, factual letter of explanation that you had a previous decision rendered by IRCC for your PR card.

Now note - I don't believe anyone can guarantee that this will go smoothly, or quickly, although I (personally) think the risk of serious issues regarding the RO compliance are low. Particularly if 1.5 years of recent time is in Canada. You should be aware though that it MIGHT be faster to wait until you have the 730 days instead of submitting now. (Your spouse can apply for a TRV, although of course would have no ability to work for a while and little access to health care).

And note for terminology: you were not "granted PR status under H&C after spending more than 730 days outside of Canada for family reasons." It sounds like the accurate version of this is that "you recently renewed your PR card by submitting with H&C reasons." (That's my best stab at how to phrase it, perhaps someone else knows).
