Hello,
This might be the wrong place to ask, sorry, but since it is part of the process maybe somebody knows the answer.
Does anyone know if the Service Canada Office that used to be at the Toronto Airport is still there? it was closed during the pandemic. Also where in the airport is the office for the landing? like, what terminal? :) Thanks.

Hi,
I was filling the forms on December 2023; however, I couldn't send the apploxations because the program was closed. So I'd like to know if you if they will be opening the program again?
Thanks

We don't know. I would not count on it and would recommend exploring other immigration paths.

My parents are still waiting to be approved. Can they travel to Canada on a visitor visa while waiting?

Hello everyone, is anybody here doing virtual landing? i have received my RFV letter and now I'm doing virtual landing as I'm inside Canada, anybody have the same case
Any updates? My parents are still waiting for passport request, can they travel to Canada on a temporary visitor visa while waiting? Or will their application get denied because of that ?

Hey guys!

Congrats to those who were approved! My two brothers were approved not long ago (Venezuela) and they both have they received their visas and their COPRs.

So, I know the website indicates the program gives them a one time lump sump payment on arrival. Does anyone knows how much is it? I’m trying to help them figure things out and to be ready for the HCOL.

Also if anyone ese have any additional tips for those of us who are anchors, that would be great. Thanks!

My brother gave the medical exams in April and we're still waiting for an update on his application!... Is it normal this long wait?
Thank you!

I am helping a friend who arrived to Newfoundland with the Family Based Humanitarian Program. She came with her husband and son. She has a son who lives in Newfoundland and a daughter who lives in Montreal. She had a hard time finding a job in Newfoundland and she does not speak English. She is planing to go to Quebec and live with her daughter and find a job there (she speaks French). What will be the best option for her ?

Well I do not know much but the number one rule of the program was to live anywhere in Canada except Quebec so I don’t think moving to Quebec would be a good choice because Quebec did not want to be part of the program, for now it could not bring any issues but eventually it will. Specially when she apply for citizenship they could remove her PR and not grant citizenship as she didn’t follow the number 1 rule of the program. I would advise her to go back to Newfoundland and wait until she get her citizenship and she could go anywhere she wants in Canada
