Hi there,
I am posting this question again as I am very confused at the moment. I need help calculating my family size for super-visa. I know for sure my family size would include myself, my spouse, and my mother who I am inviting . My father has been deceased. My spouse applied for his parents super-visa 2 years back- both mother and father and was approved. I did not co-sign his application and I do not think he will need to co-sign my application. Would I include my in-laws in my family size now?? There is not much information about this on IRCC website specifically relating to co-signers and the way they wrote it is quite unclear. Website link is below and I have attached screenshots as well. To be honest it does not make sense to me to include his parents but if you look at IRCC website example number 2 of family size (website link attached) it says if host spouse is currently hosting their parents on super-visa they are to be included which I suppose means if they are in Canada, we would include them. But what about if they are not in Canada? I contacted IRCC but they say they do not comment on specific cases and are of no help at all. Please help me.

Unfortunately you cannot go ahead with 3, it'd be 5. Your husband can co-sign if both your income put together will achieve the LICO.
To answer your query : Though your in-laws aren't travelling now, no one can assure about the future. Hence, IRCC policy makes it clear that if you sponsored one parent then the headcount would be added in the overall family count.

PS : Please don't take the risk in applying without calculating the overall family size.
