My 60-year-old father is applying for a visitor visa to Canada to visit me, and my 12-year-old niece will be accompanying him. I am unsure whether my father needs to complete IMM 5476 (Use of a Representative) and whether my niece is required to sign it. Can anyone please gudie?

So your father is filling out the form for his grand-daughter? Her parents can sign the form. The parents should be filling out the form as they are the ones who will be showing her funds, ties to return and travel history. She is not your father’s dependant so they are separate applications and not tied to one another.
