I submitted my passport to VFS Abuja on 18th August and it was transmitted to IRCC Accra on 25th of August. Since then no update and I have not received it back. Please I need serious advice on what to do as it has taken over 60 days now. Now, the problem is that i need the passport with or without stamping to meet up with a deadline. What do I do please???

Good day everybody
Pls is there any dependent that submitted his or her passport here in Nigeria for stamping?
If yes,how long does it take before you received it back
It’s been more than a month I submitted and I haven’t heard anything from them.

I'm an inland applicant with outland dependents. My family submitted their passports to VFS Abuja since November 14th and the passports were delivered to IRCC Ghana on the 20th of November and we're yet to get any updates. We've submitted multiple web forms and sent emails, there's been no feedback besides the standard automated responses. They went to VFS Abuja to inquire and they were told it's a long time but it's not unusual and the passports should be expected any moment now. I'm also waiting for my eCoPR in Canada.

Hopefully yours doesn't take as long as ours. I'll let you know when I hear back from them, and you please do the same.

Hi
Any update?
I called IRCC last week to find out why IRCC Ghana was holding unto my dependents' passports for 3 months and they informed me that the passports had not been processed because I, as the principal applicant was yet to complete my virtual landing. I received my eCoPR yesterday along with a new RFV. Apparently, they were not supposed to issue the first RFV that was sent to me when I got portal access. I wasn't sure what to do with the new RFV since IRCC Ghana already has their passports, so I called and was asked to submit a webform along with the new RFV.

My hopes are someone in Accra receives the new RFV, pairs it with the physical passports that have been with them since 3 months ago and finally issue the VISAs and CoPRs. From my past experiences, IRCC Ghana doesn't respond to emails or webforms so I'm going to wait a week before escalating.

How about you, you should have received your passport and CoPR by now?
