Monthly Payments
Hi everyone, I am about to apply for my in-laws supervisa. I saw a few posts on this forum where members have posted in 2022-23 that supervisa getting rejected when they chose monthly payments instead of paying in advance for the entire year. Can someone please let me know if this is still the case? I'm confused as to why the IRCC will even post this on their website when they are rejecting supervisa just for this reason. I can pay in full but would prefer paying in installments and not locking away 5-6k for a long duration.
Date of Start of Insurance
Also, some people posted their supervisas getting rejected even if they paid in advance because of the date when the supervisa becomes active (The officer seeing they don't have the insurance at the time when the application/file reaches them and that it starts sometime in the future). I understand that as we don't know when the supervisa will be approved, we just put a future date of start of the 1 year insurance which will always show the officer that the insurance isn't active and starts in future. Any advice on how to deal with this situation?
